Η σημερινή ημέρα είναι αφιερωμένη στα γυναικεία επιτεύγματα and you won’t change my mind. Από τη μία η Taylor Swift γράφει ιστορία ως η νεότερη γυναίκα στο Songwriters ‘Hall of Fame’, από την άλλη η Emma Stone κάνει το ίδιο στα Όσκαρς με το πλήθος των υποψηφιοτήτων της· το ‘go girls’ έγινε αυτόματα το σλόγκαν της ημέρας.
Ρεκόρ υποψηφιοτήτων όμως είδαμε και από μια ταινία, το ‘Sinners’, με πρωταγωνιστή τον Micheal B. Jordan. Γενικά, η λίστα με τα nominations ανακοινώθηκε πριν λίγη ώρα και οι σχολιασμοί δίνουν και παίρνουν. Τόσο για το πώς διαμορφώθηκε, όσο με τα ρεκόρ που έχουν σημειωθεί.
Ξεκινώντας από την μούσα του Γιώργου Λάνθιμου, κατάφερε να αποσπάσει και φέτος 2 υποψηφιότητες, μία για τον Α’ Γυναικείο Ρόλο για την ερμηνεία της στο «Βουγονία», και μία στην κατηγορία Καλύτερη Ταινία, καθώς υπήρξε και παραγωγός της.
Με αυτές τις δύο διακρίσεις, η 37χρονη ηθοποιός έφτασε συνολικά τις 7 υποψηφιότητες στην καριέρα της, γεγονός που την καθιστά τη νεότερη γυναίκα και δεύτερο νεότερο άτομο στην ιστορία των Όσκαρ που το καταφέρνει αυτό.
Σημειώνεται ότι μόνο ο Walt Disney είχε συγκεντρώσει ισάριθμες υποψηφιότητες στα 34 του το 1936, ενώ το σχετικό ρεκόρ για τις γυναίκες ανήκε μέχρι σήμερα στη Maryl Streep.
Αναφορικά με την ταινία ‘Sinners’, αφήνει το δικό της ανεξίτηλο σημάδι στον θεσμό, καθώς μετράει 16 υποψηφιότητες και σημειώνει έτσι ρεκόρ! Αυτό έχει περάσει από τα «χέρια» του ‘All About Eve’ (1950), ‘Titanic’ (1997) και ‘La La Land’ (2016). Πλέον αλλάζει κάτοχο, ενώ εμείς ανυπομονούμε να δούμε πόσα από αυτά θα σηκώσει.
Στην άλλη πλευρά τώρα, αυτή των «αποτυχημένων», βρίσκεται, προς έκπληξη πολλών, το ‘Wicked For Good’, που αποκλείστηκε τελείως από τα φετινά βραβεία.
Η τελετή θα πραγματοποιηθεί στο Dolby Theatre στο Los Angeles και θα προβληθεί στο ABC και το Hulu την Κυριακή 15 Μαρτίου, με παρουσιαστή τον Conan O’Brien.
